Lost-deal analysis

Why are you losing deals in the sales funnel?

ENQOA™ // Lost Deals. Why sales reps don’t sell more

Your sales team will point to price, timing, features, or competition — or claim the customer simply wasn’t ready. But that’s only one side of the story.

Enqoa shows there’s more to the story

First we talk to the people who said no.

Prospects often give convenient reasons or mislead reps. We interview decision-makers who seriously considered you but picked someone else, and we pay them for their time, so we get honest, face-to-face answers, not biased survey responses by trigger happy survey lovers.

  • What happened in the sales calls? Where did you lose them?
  • How did you compare to competitors? What could you have done differently?
  • What was your product, and what were your people?

Then we talk to your sales team

Then we interview your sales team and compare the two accounts: what Sales thought happened versus what the customer experienced. The differences are where insights live. One lost deal is an anecdote; many reveal patterns.

Last, we analyse

We identify recurring problems across proposition, pricing, competition, sales behaviour, and the buying experience, then give practical, blame-free recommendations your team can use.

Questions people ask before they call

Why interview lost prospects instead of surveying them?
People rarely write down the real reason in a survey. In a paid, face-to-face interview a decision-maker will tell you what actually happened in the sales calls, how you compared with competitors and what would have changed the outcome.
How many lost deals do you need?
One lost deal is an anecdote. From around ten to fifteen interviews recurring patterns become clear, and we typically combine them with pipeline data from your CRM.
Will this become a blame exercise for the sales team?
No. The sales team is interviewed as well, and the recommendations are practical and blame-free. The value lies in the gap between what Sales thought happened and what the customer experienced.
